Win 1 of 10 opportunities to eat at one of Heston Blumenthal’s award winning restaurants and cook a dish in the development kitchens.
Entrants must be 18+, UK and ROI residents, and not be employees (or their relatives) of the Promoter, or anyone professionally associated with this promotion. Reckitt Benckiser reserves the right to request written proof of age of any winner. Entries must be received before 21st November 2008.
Each entrant may submit as many recipes as they like, provided each submission is made in accordance with these terms and conditions.
No purchase necessary.
Entry into this promotion shall be deemed to be full & unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. Entries and/or entrants which do not comply with these terms and conditions may be disqualified.
The 10 winners will be the submitters of the 10 best recipes received, as selected by an independent expert. No entrant may win more than 1 prize in total. Recipes will be judged by an independent expert. Winners will be notified by [6th January 2009] and will be given reasonable notice of the day on which their prize must be taken.
Each recipe must be original to the entrant submitting it. Each entrant gives the Promoter permission to reproduce (by itself or through third parties) all their submitted recipes as the Promoter sees fit, provided reasonable acknowledgement is given in each case. No entrant shall be entitled to any additional payment or other compensation in respect of any such reproduction.
No responsibility can be taken for entries lost, delayed or incomplete. Illegible or incorrect entries will be deemed invalid. Proof of submission of entries is not proof of receipt.
There are 10 prizes and the winner of each prize will have the opportunity to spend a specified day (date to be notified as above), along with the other winners, cooking their winning recipe in Heston Blumenthal’s kitchens. The winners will be treated to lunch at The Hind's Head restaurant. Heston Blumenthal will select an overall winner from the 10 winning recipes as prepared on the day and the prize for the overall winning recipe will be dinner for two at The Fat Duck restaurant, on a date to be agreed. Winners’ reasonable travel expenses within the UK and ROI will be paid by the Promoter but winners will be responsible for all other expenses incurred e.g. accommodation. The Promoter cannot guarantee that Heston Blumenthal will be present for all or part of the prize day – if he is not able to take part, a suitable stand-in will be present.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as necessary in case of unforeseen circumstances.
The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered howsoever arising from this competition or any prize whether due to any errors or omissions or other cause by the Promoter, its employees, agents or others to the fullest extent permitted by law. However, nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
No cash alternative will be offered in lieu of any prize. The prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value to any prize offered. If any winner is disqualified or is unable for any reason to accept any prize, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner for that prize.
